About the role

We’re hiring a Solutions Architect / Integrations Engineer to design and build secure, reliable integrations across Goal Get It! systems and partner platforms (including SIS and Canvas). You’ll set standards, ship connectors, and help teams scale integrations without fragile one-offs.

What you’ll do

  • Design integration architectures (APIs, webhooks, batch sync, validation, retries).

  • Implement authentication and access patterns (SSO/OAuth concepts, secrets handling).

  • Build observability and runbooks for integration health and support workflows.

  • Collaborate with Product and partners on requirements, rollout plans, and testing.

  • Use AI tools substantively for prototyping, code generation, test creation, and documentation—while validating correctness and protecting sensitive data.

Education & experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience). MS/PhD welcome.

  • Typically 3+ years building production integrations and backend systems.

Required knowledge, skills, and abilities

  • Strong backend engineering and API design skills.

  • Reliability mindset (idempotency, retries, monitoring, safe deploys).

  • Security instincts (least privilege, input validation, secrets hygiene).

  • Substantive AI-tool fluency with strong verification and privacy boundaries.

Nice to have

  • Prior experience with EdTech integrations (SIS/LMS ecosystems, partner rollouts).

  • Serverless/edge architecture familiarity and event-driven design patterns.

  • Experience with data modeling and integration documentation standards.

Working conditions

  • Remote work; occasional off-hours coordination for partner cutovers/releases.

Compensation

Expected base salary range (annual, USD): $150,000 – $230,000.

This role is open to candidates regardless of location. Compensation will be based on the location of the successful candidate.
