About the role
Goal Get It! is seeking a Content Strategy Intern to help make our scholarship and outreach content clear, accessible, and consistent across web and communications. We use AI tools substantively in our workflows—so you’ll learn to draft faster, edit smarter, and verify carefully.
Schedule & duration
This internship runs on a quarterly cycle aligned to academic schedules. Interns typically work part-time during terms and may shift to full-time in summer based on availability and program needs.
What you’ll do
Edit and improve scholarship/program pages, FAQs, and application guidance.
Help maintain voice/tone guidelines and reusable templates.
Support outreach communications (emails, partner toolkits, short-form content).
Use AI tools for drafting and revision—then fact-check, refine tone, and ensure accessibility.
Education & experience
High school students are welcome (especially for communications-focused projects).
Also open to candidates enrolled in or recently graduated from a BS, MS, or PhD program (or equivalent experience).
Strong writing samples (school, personal, or internship work accepted).
Required knowledge, skills, and abilities
Clear writing and editing skills; strong attention to detail.
Ability to accept feedback and iterate quickly.
Substantive AI-tool fluency for drafting/editing with careful verification.
Nice to have
Familiarity with web writing, basic SEO, or accessibility-friendly content.
Experience with content systems (CMS) or style guides.
Working conditions
Remote work; deadline-based bursts around program launches.
Compensation
High school candidates: $17.81/hour (USD).
College/grad candidates: Expected hourly range (USD): $18.00 – $30.00.
This role is open to candidates regardless of location. Compensation will be based on the location of the successful candidate.

The pay offered will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the role, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location, and external market pay for comparable jobs.
